Abstraksi:The majority of a sample of 268 undergraduates at a large southeastern university reported no interest in engaging in a variety of sexual behaviors even if there were no consequences. For those who did evidence an interest, there were ten statistically significant differences between what men and women reported they would do sexually if the opportunity presented itself, was safe, and they would never be discovered. As expected, on all variables, men evidenced greater sexual desires/interests than women. Men, in contrast to women, reported significantly greater interest in having sex on a secluded beach, having sex in a threesome, having sex in a public place with a chance of getting caught, having sex with someone of another race, going to a nude beach, having sex with a married person, being forced to have sex, having sex with a prostitute, forcing someone to have sex, and having sex with a minor child. Biological, evolutionary, sociobiological, and symbolic interactionism/social scripts are used to interpret the data. Limitations of the study are suggested
