Abstraksi:Abstract Wellness in counselor preparation has received increasing attention in recent years. However, few Wellness programs have been described that use an evidencebased theoretical model as a guide. In this article, the authors describe development of a Wellness program using the Indivisible Setf model of Wellness (based on Individual Psychology) as a conceptual framework (Myers & Sweeney, 2004). Factors related to Wellness, as defined by the Indivisible Self model, are used to recommend strategies for integrating Wellness into counselor preparation. Whereas contextual barriers may be present, individual Wellness efforts can also be reinforced through faculty role models, and curricular and cocurricular activities. With peer, faculty, and institutional support, counselors-in-preparation may explore their own self-care strategies and support each other's efforts.
