| Abstraksi | : | As a result of her corporate work experience and a range of multicultural life experiences, in the following article the author identifies the growing influence global corporations have in the world, their impact on the environment in which they operate, and the personal influence this has on their employees. She describes the general movement toward corporate social responsibility by these companies and explores the result of empowering individuals to view their work and careers in the context of social interest and social responsibility. A case study of the author's therapeutic intervention demonstrates the effect of dealing with the corporate influence on personal life and the empowerment found in reassuming personal and social responsibility for oneself. |
