| Abstraksi | : | In the summer of 2007, The Journal of Individual Psychology ¡o'med Dr. Mary Frances Schneider in compiling a set of articles on narcissism—and more specificallyj in describing Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) from the point of view of ln| dividual Psychology. Schneider and Sadler (2007) provided an extraordinary article on the treatment of those who partner with narcissistically oriented people. Toward the end of their article, they invite others into a dialogue regarding treatment "wheri issues of power and control are central mechanisms in a client's life story" (p. 177)! This response is situated within an Adierian-Feminist perspective: The author seeks to redefine NPD in terms of male dominance and to remove the effects of sexism and White male privilege from psychiatric diagnosis |
