| Abstraksi | : | Abstract The authors give an outline of the history of Individual Psychology in Spain. The authors argue that the ostracism that Individual Psychology has suffered at certain times is still particularly strong in Spain, and they speculate about the reasons. The authors describe their own work with the Adierian approach: adult psychotherapy in a public mental health service in Andalusia, and educational counseling with parents and teachers in Catalonia. Finally, the authors argue that though Individual Psychology should be an appropriate approach for people in this country, its difficult status will not change in the near future. |
