Abstraksi:Abstract The authors discuss Alfred Adier's concept of organ inferiority in terms of measurable individual differences in psychophysiology. They argue that with the help of relatively low-cost modern electronics, it is now possible and practical for clinicians to observe and report to the client significant individual differences in psychophysiological status. Further, once these differences are clear to the clinician and the client, it is possible to begin correcting mistaken beliefs and maladaptive compensations for these individual differences. The authors discuss examples of using this process in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, autism, and hypertension.
