Abstraksi:Cultural influences affecting female Asian pedagogy employed in Kuwaiti higher education were studied using symbolic interactionism as a conceptional framework for the effects of gender and race on Kuwaiti private university campuses. Participants were provided an overview of the project prior to the interviews. The data collection process was conducted through extensive interviews that had a duration of forty-five minutes up to two hours. Only consistent themes and patterns were deemed relevant throughout the course of this study. The conclusion of the study showed evidence that Asian women experienced challenges to their authority, displays of disrespect, projection of stereotypes, and lack of support from peers and other members of academia more often than western colleagues or male counterparts. Although research that investigates the significance of both experience and race in relation to higher education in Kuwait is limited, these findings supported Wenzel and HoUenshead (1994) and Shah and Al-Qudsi ( 1986).
