Abstraksi:This study attempts to identify the typological-research domain of the construct Counterproductive Work Behavior (CWB). Since the literature on this topic is seminal in nature, it would be informative to examine emerging trends. To that end, a bibliometric content analysis was performed on the pool of major studies (/;=119 articles) on CWB indexed in the PsycINFO database from 1998-2013. The findings revealed that CWB research has focused on burgeoning issues like taxonomy, construct issues, measurement, and etiology. The most prominent areas of research interest, in rank order, were personality factors, organizational justice, development of CWB measures, workplace constraints, organizational citizenship behaviors, issues regarding measurement, and emotions at work. Interestingly, researchers are not focusing on a host of salient I/O topics, i.e., retaliation, work-life factors, drug abuse, burnout, rehabilitation, and intervention. Directions for future research were noted.
