| Abstraksi | : | This study analyzed the relationship between heterosexual males and homosexual males with regards to their risk of developing an eating disorder. The primary issue that the study addressed is why there is a difïerenee in the degree to which a male of a specific sexual orientation is at risk of developing an eating disorder, when comparing heterosexual males to homosexual males. The method used to researeh this topic was based on the completion of various questionnaires and cognitive tasks by subjects that were differentiated into groups based on their sexual orientation. The results of the study yielded signifieant between groups comparison only for WAIS-R vocabulary performance. No other results were signifieant regarding risk of eating disorders in these two groups. |
